Oh by the way..........

You asked for it. That bloody song. (CD to be released soon)

A FUNKY SONG

When you get up; well you know we're gona be, we're gona be the ones to make you "polar bear". And in the morning; well youu know we're gona be the ones who make you brush your teeth and comb your hair.

Then at flag time; well you know we're gona be we're gona be the ones who're telling you "hands up". And at meal time; well you know we're gona be, telling you all to get your hands out of your cup.

(Chorus) But I would yell 500 times, and I would yell 500 more just to be the one who yells 1000 times about slaming the door.

Wake up now, wake up now go to bed now, go to bed now turn around, take off your hat and face the flag

Wake up now, wake up now go to bed now, go to bed now turn around, take off your hat and face the flag.

On the weekends; well you know we're gona be, we're gona be the ones with you for the whole day. And for free choice, well you know were gona be, the ones who call the role and take you out to play.

On the feild trips; well you know we're gona be, we're gona be the ones who haven't got a clue. But on the bus ride, well you know we're gona be the ones who give you plastic bags in case you "spew".

(Chorus)

Wake up now, wake up now, go to bed now, go to bed now turn around, take off your hat, and face the flag.

Wake up now, Wake up now go to bed now, go to bed now turn around, take off your hat, and face the flag.

But I would yell 500 times and I would yell 500 more just to be the one who yells 1000 times about slamming the door-or-or!

EYE SEE YOU!

AND NOW FOR CAMP 99!

You know, it's funny how when you are doing something it can seem monotonous, pointless, futile, dumb, or infuriating. But when it is over you wish you were still doing it. Summer camp for 99 was much like this. Personally I found it much harder work this year than last year. I am not certain why, but suffice to say that working in a summer camp is not easy, however it is fun. Allow me to relate a few little incidents.

Taking a bush walking group, one evening, I noticed that it was beggining to rain. I remembered from last year that this was bad for some reason, yet I could not remember why. So on we merrily strolled with our rain coats on. 2 min. later we were running back along the track to get back to camp. The Mosquitoes had suddenly become an insane swarm. The thing that I had forgotten sudddenly dawned on me. Rain disturbs the mosquitoes and they fly to the nearest frienly environment they can find. Normaly a persons head.

I was awoken one night, around 3am, to the sound of a loud crash. Instantly comming to the conclusion that it was one of the kids having a late night vandalisation of the cabin, I raced in the door. But low and behold one of the kids had fallen out of bed and, to my amazment, remained fast asleep and snoring like a an elephant.

But it was not all fun and games there was lots of hard work to do too. Fortunatly I refrained from the fire dancing this year.
